Graphic and pointillist, Canopy incorporates the rustic bling that Clodagh is renowned for. Inspired by a walk under a canopy of trees, this design is the result of the abstracting of patterns and shadows, remixing them with a reflective, almost mirror-like background.
Memories of walking through peaceful gardens in Japan conjure reveries of the tight organization of Japanese siding and the contemplative raking of zen gardens. Mindfulness of shape, form and pattern underscore Rake, creating visual harmony.
This design embraces wabi-sabi: The celebration and reverence for the natural aging of things, and the acceptance of transience and imperfection. With a pattern that nods to the art of rattan weaving, Wabi-Sabi was inspired by Clodagh’s travels to Porto, treading on cobblestones while exploring the winding streets.
Reminiscent of a walk through a dense pine forest, trail is an abstract representation of Clodagh’s hikes with her son through the fragrant Oregon woods.
Silk has always been synonymous with luxury. In ancient times, silk was only worn by royalty, woven and dyed in rich, lustrous colors. Silken One reminds us of Dupioni, a plain, crisp type of silk that uses two or more entangled cocoons in the weft. It has a very faint line down the middle that shows the natural imperfections of silk. As in all products that come in nature, the imperfections are what make it perfect.
Biophilic design incorporates natural material, natural light, vegetation, nature views and other experiences of the natural world into the modern built environment. Chateau is a biophilic design that brings the beautiful imperfections of wood to life. Slats of wood sit side by side, each piece unique, just as nature intended. Perfect for any interior that needs a warm, natural finish.
Illusive was developed by a designer in Holland known for her textural expertise. This pattern adds interest to wall without taking over the space. It also lets the individual decide what this design is to them. It looks natural, somewhat abstract, perhaps invented- or is it an actual texture found in nature? Illusive… deceptive… by design.
Well Dressed comes from fashion. Runways all over the world have featured the houndstooth design in varying size, shape, and color. It has its roots in Scotland in the 1800’s, used as an outer garment, and is currently having a resurgence in some of the top fashion houses in Europe. This bold design can certainly “dress up” an interior and make a sophisticated statement for commercial applications. Well Dressed is fun, familiar, and can add an upscale look to any area.
Flexiweave is a new emboss for our Koroseal Basic line. Weaves give a visual and tactile effect that enhance our surroundings. Subtle weaves that suggest their presence but don’t overwhelm the interior space is what Flexiweave was made to do. Intricately woven and colored in today’s neutrals and accents, Flexiweave is appropriate for any surface.
