Hospitality Sales Consultant // Dream Builder + Wellness Guru
Margeaux House is a natural-born advocate for creating. As one of Koroseal’s Hospitality Sales Consultant, Margeaux is on the front-lines everyday, dream-building with our customers to create their ideal spaces. Each day offers a different script for Margeaux. Her love for creating thrives in building new designs alongside her clients, creating unique solutions together. Margeaux is creative to the core, and loves improving the design experience as well as the general well-being of her client partners. Creating beautiful spaces, and supporting self-care are two of Margeaux’s true passions.
Growing up on the North Fork of Long Island, Margeaux was always drawn to the energy of New York City. On the weekends, she and her friends would leave their small town and make the 2-plus hour drive to wander the streets of New York together. City-life intrigued Margeaux, and the unique creative energy she found while visiting fueled her long-lived passion for design. After graduating high school, Margeaux left Orient Point to attend college in New York, and she never looked back. She attended F.I.T. for advertising design; however, upon graduation, it was difficult finding a job that would support living in New York City. She opted to shift into a customer service role at a fabric company, affording her to stay in the city she loved.
Working her way through the industry, Margeaux uncovered her love for assisting in the creation of beautiful spaces. She cherished the concept that the spaces she designed would one day provide the stage for people to create beautiful memories. Margeaux continued her design journey, working for Christopher Norman, a premier lighting and case goods company. There she managed the upholstery and drapery workroom, learning how to create custom furniture the “old school way”, with springs and down.. At Joseph Buinno, a top antique restoration and reproduction workroom, Margeaux began working directly with designers on creating interior pieces. From armoires to sofas, clients would bring in pictures of inspirational antiques they found from around the world. Margeaux would then work with her team of wood carvers, turners, and guilders to help replicate the antiques for the client. Margeaux also has experience with lighting as she managed the showroom in the Fine Arts Building for Niermann Weeks. Niermann Weeks was a top lighting manufacturer of the time, featured on the cover of every home design magazine.
Margeaux’s deep interior design experience eventually led her to Koroseal, where she has spent the last 17 years helping hospitality clients build the designs of their dreams.
Margeaux’s love for helping people create works of beauty goes beyond the meeting room or showroom floor.
During her time with Koroseal, Margeaux has worked intimately with Koroseal products, helping her long-standing hospitality clients, as well as new designers. Although most days are filled with meetings or large presentations, Margeaux always finds additional time for her clients. She is often meeting them for lunch or dinner, or shopping for clients based on the concept images they have shared with her for upcoming projects.
"My favorite thing about my job is my clients. I have been doing business with some of the same people for 17 plus years, so many have also become dear friends."
As a yoga instructor herself, Margeaux is an advocate for self-care. During Covid, she offered numerous free yoga and meditation classes for her clients via zoom. Many really appreciated the support, and since then, Margeaux has hosted in-person yoga classes for her clients as well.
"It is such a team building activity, and a wonderful way for everyone to come together and practice self-care. Our industry has historically had the mindset of : ‘work till 2am, get a few hours of sleep, rinse and repeat.’ Covid really shifted that, and required everyone to slow down and take care of themselves. This resonates with me."
Margeaux’s creative personal style also supports her innovation in interior design. Sometimes Margeaux browses high-end retailers to explore what is new in the fashion space. Her shopping experience, however, is a bit different from a typical shopping trip. For Margeaux, the shopping experience goes much deeper, considering the fabric being used in a garment; the materials used for a new pair of shoes; or the craftsmanship and technique used in a handbag. She finds inspiration in all of it, and brings this inspiration to solutions for her clients, re-energizing the hospitality space.
Going the extra mile for her clients is a standard for Margeaux. She ensures that she is always available for customers, whether it is by answering an emergency email late at night, or educating a new designer on products and codes. From start to finish, Margeaux is invested in each and every client project. Margeaux is able to bring designer visions to life, while finding the best products to perform in their space, ensuring the design meets building codes and client needs. Not only is she passionate, but Margeaux’s rich product knowledge and hospitality experience delivers next-level executions for her Koroseal clients.

Describe a project or task that allowed you to help bring a customer’s dream to life.
Margeaux: Recently I worked closely with the design team at Jeffrey Beers and the Koroseal Digital Team to create custom artwork for the Fontainebleau Las Vegas and Miami locations. Digital is always fun because typically we are working from inspiration images provided by the designer. We then have to create the artwork to bring the vision to life. These projects have beautiful ombre’ wallcoverings spanning the corridors, and strong graphic patterns in the public spaces, which really make an impact.
What is your favorite Koroseal product, and why?
Margeaux: My favorite Koroseal product is the Moire Sauvage Wallcovering. This is a vinyl interpretation of one of Arte's designs that we manufacture. I actually have this in the sitting room in my home. You cannot tell at all that it is a type II vinyl. It is so well executed that it truly looks like a textile on the wall.
I love all things Arte. My entire brownstone is filled with beautiful wallcoverings, all from Arte (not one ounce of paint). The attention to design detail, and thoughtfulness in pattern and texture is unmatched. They are so far ahead on color trends and design. The wallcoverings are just magical.
What’s a hobby or interest that fuels your creativity?
Margeaux: I became a certified yoga instructor in 2019 and teach in my neighborhood. When I began my yoga journey, I never saw a teacher who looked like me in the front of the room. I thought to myself, “there are not enough people of color or size in the wellness space.” I want to be the person standing in the front of the room leading, so that people understand that yoga and wellness is for everybody, and that you are welcome here. I also created a lifestyle and wellness blog that I managed for 7 years and amassed a very large IG following. I got to a point where I felt burned out, so I have since pulled back in that area. I do not want to do anything inauthentically. Right now, I am looking for my next creative adventure, and I am thinking it may be authoring a book.
What are you most looking forward to in the future of Koroseal?
Margeaux: I love that Koroseal is really leaning into new technology. Our new equipment has made such a difference in the way we execute designs, allowing our design team to truly create innovative designs. I find this really exciting!
