The HD Expo + Conference is one of the largest and most exciting annual events in our industry! From the heart of Las Vegas, HD Expo brings our design community together for hospitality and design product discovery. The Koroseal team loves attending HD each year because it is customer-driven. The event is truly focused on a cumulation of the latest trends, manufacturers, and industry experts for a networking event that allows teams to build ideas and relationships, paving the way for future dream-making.
HD Expo 2025 definitely was invigorating! Not only did Korosesal have the opportunity to showcase its own booth space, launch new products, and feature some of our own dream-worthy designs; we also were deeply inspired and energized as we learned, observed, and connected with fellow forward-thinking creators.
Craving a glimpse into the exciting world of HD? Below are some of the Koroseal team's favorite trends and new products from this year’s show!
Over the course of 3 days, HD Expo brought to life new ideas, industry insights, and true design inspiration. Check out these swoon-worthy color, design, and material trends we just couldn’t get enough of!
This year’s exhibit showcased a noticeable and dramatic shift in color. Greens were ever present, ranging from sage and avocado shades, to exciting accents of vibrant citrus. Brilliant Kelly greens and striking blue teals were also prevalent in the sea of green colorways.
Greens were complimented with a sense of softness that came through in the use of soft celadons and pastel hues. While blues were tried and true, they definitely took a back seat to this year’s green focus. The blues consisted mostly of rich shades of navy and accents of soft, dusted down, mid-range tones.
We also loved the use of warm clay colors - spanning the spectrum of red earth shades with hints of brown, to soft pastels. When used in combination, the clay coloring of brown, burgundy, rose, and soft make-up inspired pinks created an inviting, tranquil space and color story.
Lastly, the use of yellow as an accent color was a strikingly beautiful way to complement the greens, blues, and warm clay tones.
Striking statements were made through the use of large scale, organic patterns; featured in bright, captivating colors.
Prevalent bold patterns utilized botanical theming and organic shapes. Also, many classic patterns were reinvented in fresh, new ways. From free-form stripes to meandering plaids, the new twist on timeless classics made them feel fun, without being too stuffy. Fringe also re-emerged as a familiar design element, featured in various pieces, from furniture to unexpected applications in wallcoverings and accessories.
The Design team also loved seeing the new uses of pattern layering. Pattern on pattern, and texture on texture created a dynamic palette for many of the vignettes on the show floor.
Overall, the products on display had a relaxed casualness that featured comfort, without compromising style.
Structured pieces and crisp lines gave way to curvilinear shapes with soft, rounded corners. Everything from furniture, to accessories and structural elements, had a more organic quality that was soft and natural.
Many pieces were reminiscent of the Art Deco and Art Nouveau movements. Although a few booths focused more heavily on these styles, most examples we saw were quiet nods, brought to life with color and the integration of adapted greek key and fan shapes.
Wood and other natural materials like cane, jute, and sisal permeated the show floor. From walls, to floors - and everything in between - the warm use of natural materials was omnipresent, leaving behind the greige and cerused finishes we are used to seeing. Designers welcomed materials in their natural state, adding dynamic textures, and warm tones of honey and rich browns.
The vertical ribbed wood trend transformed this year into a new direction - wood slats become freeform. The vertical wood was also enhanced with new concave and convex shapes.
As we have witnessed throughout the design community, sustainable options are becoming more of a need than an added value. Sustainability is now the expectation of all products in the hospitality industry. Eco-friendly sourced materials, energy-efficient operating systems, ways to reduce manufacturing waste, and carbon footprint neutralization are now priorities for many businesses. With new product options consistently evolving, we are excited to see sustainable and eco-friendly choices continue to become second-nature.
With over 600 product suppliers, spanning over 25 categories, HD Expo 2025 hosted a vast supply of inspiration. Koroseal and Arte were at the top of that list, featuring several new design products and mindfully-crafted displays. We can’t wait to help bring customer visions to life, utilizing some of our favorite new products!
